Freshman Year✔️

To-Do:

Move in✔️

Finish freshman year✔️

Move out✔️

About to be a sophomore (eeeek!) ✔️

I finished my freshman year of college on May 2nd, giving me three whole months of summer to travel, spend time with family and friends, and make the most of the summer:)

Recap: Freshman year was a pretty big change. I moved out of the house (pretty much forever) and begin living on my own. It’s weird that at 18 I’m deciding my future and where I’ll end up in four years. Freshman year was a crazy ride, to say the least. From forming new friendships to taking harder classes to trying to live in the moment, it was a really good year. I learned 1) it’s okay to let go of things 2) work hard but not too hard so you don’t have fun 3) talk to new people 4) join the clubs you want to join 5) enjoy yourself because you’ll never have the chance to be the most carefree, worry free, and excited person as you do now. See you in three short months b-town!

Summer Plans: I was (and still am) stressed about my summer plans. I was going for an internship, but not everything works out, I realized. Instead, I am doing a coding program, which is pretty freaking cool. Who doesn’t want to hack into super secret websites and create complicated codes that create games and apps and be techy and cool? LOL-yeah that is not going to be me, but hey, I can try. After the program, I begin my summer travels, which I am truly beyond excited for. I am so so excited to be exploring with my family and friends this summer.

First stop-Alaska!!! My family and I are going on an Alaskan cruise. We’ve been wanting to do this for a long time now, and I cannot wait to walk on glaciers, ride a helicopter, and hike through the scenic Alaskan trails. I have never been on a trip like this before, so I cannot wait to tell you all about my Alaskan adventures!

Canada. After Alaska, my family is staying in Canada for a few days to explore Vancouver. More hiking, exploring, and pictures will be coming your way during this leg of my journey.

India. My last major trip is India. Through my school, me and about 25 other students are visiting India. Through meeting with businesses and exploring cultural sites, I will get to explore India with some of my friends!

Goals: While I do have a packed and exciting summer ahead of me, I also have some goals, especially related to my blog. I cannot wait to post more often this summer–be on the lookout for travel diaries AND travel videos. I am excited to be more creative, now that I do have more time with the content that I want to make!

To-Do:

Learn how to code

Write blog posts

Make travel diaries and videos
